County Little Red Schoolhouse built in 1850 in the Village of Wayland. It was 16 ft x 20 ft. In 1879 Wayland became a grade school and a brick school was built. This building burned in 1896. Fortunately a new two-story brick school with a basement was built to replace it. It is steam heated, well lighted, ventilated and furnished.
